To direct and coordinate activities of personnel on the Teller line in a branch. Assisting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service and growth plans.

This position is currently located at:

1235-A Providence Blvd.
Deltona, FL 32725 

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm 
Friday 9am - 6pm 
Saturday hours availability as needed for coverage at other branch locations

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
25% - Involved in hiring, training, preparing work schedules and monitoring performance for all Tellers. Conducts performance reviews and provides coaching on a regular basis. Recommends employee transfers, promotions and corrective discipline.

20% - Receives and processes member/non member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payment; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Maintain member transaction records.

20% - Welcomes members/non members, refers credit union products and services, and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service. Monitors and coaches staff to ensure Leadbuilder is used consistently and quality product and service referrals are provided to members.

15% - Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations, ensures all Tellers are balanced accurately and takes action to resolve any out of balance or compliance issues. Performs end of day procedures.

10% - Orders daily cash requirement for the credit union. Manages vault cash.

5% - Assumes Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager duties in their absence.

5% - Performs other related duties as assigned including but not limited to ATM balancing, night drop processing, and FSR duties as needed.

Performance Measurements:
1. To provide and ensure that the Credit Union Core Values are met on a consistent basis. The employee should obtain an average Quality Loop score of 2.5 or better each quarter.
2. To insure that on average, tellers balance 100% of the time. Being out of balance could result in progressive discipline.
3. Responsible for compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, SAR, CTR and CIP as set forth in credit union policy.
4. To maintain a highly qualified staff, sufficient to meet the daily demands of the credit union's members/non members.
5. To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department.
6. To meet assigned credit union performance expectations on a quarterly basis.
7. To make partner referrals.
8. Consistently refer credit union products and services to grow the credit union and serve our members. Ensure staff is doing the same.
9. To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
10. To handle a reasonable number of transactions as determined by department head.
11. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
12. To note observations of employee performance, as well as, provide coaching and receive feedback from employee regarding performance related issues.
13. To assist management s in completing performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.
14. Encourage staff to participate in the credit union's Insight Inspire volunteer program.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Other Skills: Good Communication skills
