Responsible for the overall management of sales performance and member experience for a region of assigned branches. Provides leadership, advice and guidance to assigned Branch Managers, and actively monitors region locations and operational results. Actively participates in the community and collaborates with partners in assigned region to drive market penetration and market share.

Position will oversee the following Branch locations: Deltona, Lake Mary, Wekiva, Winter Springs, Vista Lakes, Hunters Creek. The home location for this position will be determined upon hire.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

30% - Directs and monitors assigned region to ensure established branch and credit union goals are met. Actively participates in sales management and business development activities; develops new deposit and loan business; provides a superior level of member relations and promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation. Monitors branch operating results and ensures appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.

25% - Represents the credit union in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups, and at charitable events. Participates in community affairs to increase the credit union's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities. Partners with marketing to develop new retail marketing plans to reach new members and expand the services used by existing credit union members. In charge of the implementation of branch initiatives (in conjunction with marketing) and responsible for local marketing activities.

15% - Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of direct reports within assigned region: conducts performance reviews; allocates resources and delegates day to day operations to meet operational needs within branches; coordinates managerial staff coverage within region; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from Branch Managers.

15% - Oversees profit and loss components of assigned region, which includes all activities related to the development and retention of a client base managed by branch managers and other branch officers/staff. Participates in establishment of annual branch/operational budget and monitor performance to budget throughout the year.

10% - Assist the VP of Operations and Security in developing long-range plans. May be involved in calling-on and negotiating with major prospects and customers in order to develop business relationships and grow the client base.

5% - Performs other job related duties as assigned.


Performance Measurements:

1. Must comply with all credit union departmental and company internal controls, code of ethics and Employee Handbook policies and procedures.

2. Responsible for compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP as set forth in Credit Union policy.

3. To provide and ensure that the Credit Union Core Values are met on a consistent basis. Ensure branches meet quality loop scores.

4. Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, motivated staff sufficient to meet daily branch demands.

5. Maintain or exceed annual budgeted branch operating and growth plan while maintaining or improving the financial stability of the branch.

6. Develop and maintain business partner relationships with the community and area schools by calling on potential SEG's and coordinating branch participation in community activities.

7. Effectively evaluate the efficiency of the branches and develop specific recommendations for improvements to personnel, facilities, products, pricing, policies, and processes.

8. To meet or exceed established region/credit union goals and ensure direct reports achieve 100% of their individual goals.

9. To meet or exceed operational objectives with respect to sales and financial objectives.

10. Ensure recovery of all critical branch functions for business contingency within recovery times set by business constraints or disaster recovery plan.

11. Note observations of employee performance. Give and receive feedback from employee on the same.

12. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.

13. Consistently refer credit union products and services to grow the credit union and serve our members. Ensure branches do the same.

14. Encourage staff to participate in the credit union's Insight Inspire volunteer program.

15. Employee must have full knowledge of credit union products.

16. To make partner referrals.

17. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

18. To maintain a NMLS ID and comply with the requirements of the SAFE Act.


Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience with branch management, sales, leadership/coaching and staff management.

Education: A two-year college degree or equivalent work experience.

Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

Other Skills: Requires demonstrated successful sales experience and the ability to develop successful sales skills in others, along with prior experience in sales coaching and business development. Must have sound operational and risk management knowledge and strong consumer, small business, and commercial lending skills.

This position requires availability to work evening and weekend hours as needed; and requires traveling to the branch locations designated for the region.
